Continuous reorganisation in the NHS is continuously destabilising

'Continuous reorganisation in the NHS is continuously destabilising' said Dr Anne Lee. 'The consultation on proposals to review hospital provision, yet again, for this part of Surrey is demoralising for staff and deeply worrying for patients.'

Rumours abound that there are proposals to close the Accident & Emergency provision at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, along with their paediatric and obstetric wards.

These services have only recently had major investment and are quickly accessible to a large number of Woking residents via the A320. Now it would appear that there are plans to create greater congestion at St Peters in Chertsey.

It is incomprehensible that a hospital next door to a major postgraduate medical school should be targeted for attrition.
