Woking Lib Dems Welcome Nick Clegg As Leader

Liberal Democrats in Woking have welcomed the election of Nick Clegg as their new Leader.

Rosie Sharpley, the Lib Dems' Parliamentary Spokesperson for Woking said "Nick Clegg will be a great Leader of the Liberal Democrats. Unlike the Labour Party who gave Gordon Brown a coronation many are now regretting, we have had a vibrant contest with both contenders travelling around the country listening and engaging with real people"

"Now is a good time to be a Liberal Democrat. The Labour government is blundering from one disaster to another, but the Conservatives policy-lite PR agenda is clearly not the answer."
